The environment is so calm good for work after hours. The room and breakfast were great.. No complain here.

Disliked · The checking-in part was not pleasing at all, The man at the reception was so impatient, not understanding and unreasoning too. He needs to do better, However the lady I encountered the next day was amazing and so helpful.

Excellent breakfast, offer changes every day. Good swimming pool. Good location – clubs and beach nearby. Great view of the ocean if your window is on the ocean side.

Disliked · No beach access but water in the ocean is anyway dirty. The showerhead could be changed. The gym is very bad. The gym needs to be fully re-equipped and new equipment has to be bought.

Disliked · The menu is way bigger than the “crappy” roommenu card, and sadly!!! I found out on my last day! THEY DON’T SELL OR HAVE ALCOHOL!
I would have loved some lamb or goat meat, because the Chef’s are really good!
Breakfast wake up early!

The breakfast was very good, The food (lunch or dinner) ordered was delivered at the promised time. Staff went out of their way when it came to helping, I liked most the restaurant receptionists. Wi-Fi was perfect and I couldn’t ask for more with the available speed, I was able to watch my programs online. I recommend this to everyone. You won’t regret it.

Disliked · TV channels didn’t allow us to watch English Premier League games, only channels offered by Azam decoder were availble and not with the best quality. I suggest they subscribe to DSTV. In bathrooms, there were no towels for the face and bathrobes. Staff responsible for providing swimming pool services was not around most of the time. The cleaning staff always forget to put towels after they are done with making up the room.

The beds are super comfy! Location is quiet. Rooms spacious. Price excellent.

I stayed at this hotel for several weeks and it was a good experience overall. The service, particularly at breakfast, was excellent the WiFi is not perfect but is mostly okay, and the value for money is probably close to unbeatable in Dar es Salaam. For the price I paid I got a nice, seaview-ish room, and almost everything worked. Maintenance issues were dealt with promptly. The food tasted good and I had very limited experience with food-poisoning. I’m saying that as I have stayed at lots of hotels in Dar, including those that are four times more expensive than this one, and I can honestly say I was poisoned far-less frequently than normal. The management here are more relaxed than many other hotel in the City (especially the premium ones), who are on the phone to you the second you are 50 cents in arrears to “come and settle your bill”. The best compliment I can pay the SeaScape is that I will be happy to stay there again once the COVID-19 passes.

Disliked · The room I had initially had roaches. After 4 days of realizing they were everywhere in the room I complained and they moved me 2 doors away so an identical room. I didn’t think it would make any difference, but I never saw another one in the room and I was there for another 2 weeks. Room service was punctual but sometimes challenging as not all the staff understand English very well, and my Swahili is rubbish (yes I know that is my fault). The other annoyance was putting my laundry in and it going missing for a week until I complained, and then it was find. On the second time I asked for my laundry to be done it came back promptly in addition to someone else’s! Sadly none of it was my size so I returned it.
